BIOGRAPHY
Sven Görlich, born in Merseburg, raised in East-Berlin, attended the Children and Youth School of Sports as a swimmer and gained access into photography through his freelance job as a model. After fleeing from the German Democratic Republic, he studied German language and literature as well as philosophy in West-Berlin and worked as a life guard, waiter and photo assistant to Ute Mahler, later also as Locationscout, Directing- and Production assistant for advertising films. Since the year 2000 he is globally engaged soley as a freelance photographer for people, advertisment and reports. Sven Görlich has a son and a daughter and lives in Berlin.
